Graduate Nurse & LPN Program

As a new graduate nurse or graduate LPN, you will work alongside experienced nurses who will prepare you to provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.

As a Graduate Nurse or LPN, you will collaboratively assist as an active member of the treatment team to provide delegated patient/resident care activities to expand your knowledge, skills and experiences in critical thinking and judgement under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (Graduate LPN only).  The Registered Nurse or LPN will delegate activities and assume accountability for the care you provide.

The Graduate Nurse and LPN programs are each 45 day programs that will prepare you to transition into a full-time RN or LPN position with HealthSource after passing your NCLEX or NCLEX-PN.


All new graduate nurses from an accredited school of nursing who are in the process of obtaining their RN or LPN license from the State of Michigan are eligible.

Clinical competencies that will be strengthened are:
